Strategy:
Having created a professional identity package (brochure, letterhead, business cards, etc.), the Jesuit Retreat House wanted to ensure that its new Web site captured that sense of wonder, reverence and serenity -- an opportunity for an exciting spiritual experience in a peaceful environment. Starting with animated art on the home page, the site has images in several areas, including graphics that define each page. We created a special form for the retreat center so visitors can sign up for a free newsletter. We trained the staff to update its own site, particularly the calendar section that often changes. The simple design includes room for considerable content about the retreat center, its history, the current directory, library, facilities and programs.
