Michael Murray launched ConveyWeb in 1998 after working more than 10 years for newspapers, a business magazine and two Internet companies. In 1986, he earned a bachelor of arts degree (news/editorial) from Kent State University.
Murray – supported by a strong network of seasoned Internet professionals with exceptional programming and design expertise – designs, manages and promotes Web sites for Northeast Ohio clients in diverse industries.
ConveyWeb’s latest clients include:
Air Enterprises (www.airenterprises.com). His firm redesigned the Akron manufacturer’s Web site to showcase more relevant content and to create a database so visitors can easily find representatives in specified countries.
Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP (www.bdblaw.com).
ConveyWeb, building on another agency’s design, added a custom a Web site management tool and expanded the content to emphasize the Akron-based firm’s clients, career opportunities, resources and community commitment. The Boston-based Web Marketing Association recognized Buckingham in its 2002 WebAwards with an Outstanding Web Site Award.
Bruder, Inc. (www.bruderinc.com). The firm created the Cleveland company’s original design for core content and a substantial photo gallery. Viewers can open a Flash portfolio that packages detailed brick images with large views of final construction (introduced with an architectural rendering that fades out).
Jesuit Retreat House (www.jrh-cleveland.org). ConveyWeb made an extensive Web site for the religious facility in Parma, including a registration section. Murray trained designated staff to use Microsoft FrontPage to maintain the Web site. During the development, Murray arranged for a Thawte SSL Web Server certificate to assure visitors that they can safely use their credit cards to register for retreats.
Virginia Marti College (www.virginiamarticollege.com). After the Lakewood college redesigned its Web site, Murray worked within the new look to get top positions for key search terms on major search engines.
Through ConveyWeb, Murray learned what it takes to help clients achieve high search engine rankings through the art of search engine optimization
(SEO). In fact, some firms, including ad agencies and a Web design and hosting company, rely on ConveyWeb to handle their clients’ SEO needs.
In addition, Murray has written articles for corporate newsletters and Northeast Ohio publications, including
The Plain Dealer, Inside Business, COSE Update
(through the Council of Smaller Enterprises) and Small Business News (now
SBN Magazine).
